I want to buy a premium theme...but first i want to see what it looks like on mobile. It does not let me do that unless I buy the theme. Is there a way around this?

maybe I'm not being clear. I'm aware of the preview function on the demo site. But I want to see what that preview will look like via the wordpress app on my mobile phone. I'm doing a blog for my company that will be access almost 100% via mobile, so I want to preview it first.

I do understand you. You can go to the Themes Showcase and find the live demo site for the premium theme in question and view the live demo using a mobile.

More to the point is this. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
