Modularity lite css help

  1. Hello! I would highly appreciate a little css help.

    1. I am using Modularity Lite, and have made some css changes to the color of the links. But it only works for the posts. I would also like the menu links at the top and in the sidebar to have the same hover color. How can I do this?

    2. The appearance of the categories widget in the sidebar looks quite different than the other widgets. Is there any way to increase the line height and add lines?

    3. Last thing, I would like to have the site title and tagline margin on the right to be the same as the menu and slideshow. When I edit the font size here, it is either too short or it makes another line. Any ideas?

    A big thanks for any help!

    The blog I need help with is bakerross.wordpress.com.

  2. Oh, and if it is possible, I would also like to remove the title and the lines between the links at the top sidebar widget. Any help is highly appreciated!

  3. 1. does this css not work for you?

    a {color #ffffff;}

    2. the line height is controlled by padding. add this line to your css and the first number is for the top and third for the bottom.

    #sidebar ul li a {padding: 6px 0 6px 8px;}

    3. try this:

    #masthead {float: right;}

    4. remove the lines with this in your css

    #top div.main-nav a { border-right: none; }

  4. sorry I missed a colin after color in that first line of code.

    a {color: #ffffff;}

  5. Hi, I pulled the colors from your CSS for your links and used them for the nav.

    1. Top navigation to match link colors in posts.

    #top div.main-nav a, #sidebar ul li a, ul.txt li {
        color: #444444;
    }

    #top div.main-nav a:hover, #sidebar ul li a:hover, ul.txt li {
        color: #F3394B;
    }

    2. Category widget.

    .widget_categories li {
    border-bottom: 1px solid #E6E6E6;
    line-height: 1.2em;
    padding: 6px 0 6px 8px;
    }

    3. Site description.

    #masthead span.description {
        padding-right: 0;
        float: right;
    }
    #masthead, .left {
        width: 100%;
    }
  6. Thank you both so much, I really appreciate it!
    thesacredpath, your codes worked great!

    The last thing not solved is how to remove the title + the lines of the top sidebar widget, which are social links. I would like to have the three link images with no lines between them and no title. Is that possible?

    Again, I am very grateful for your help!

  7. You are very welcome, and add this to get rid of the title and the lines between the images in the Social widget at the top.

    #sidebar .widget_links h3 {
    display: none;
    }

    #sidebar .widget_links ul li a {
    border-bottom: none;
    }
  8. Fantastic, thanks a million!

  9. You are welcome.
