more pages vith posts

  1. Hi! I have a question...
    Can't i have 2 pages with posts?
    If you check my blog on http://surfdude.wordpress.com/ ... i stop writeing posts on "Hawaii, USA" and i want to keep them there! Now I want to write a posts on "Tajska"

    Can you please help me?

  2. You can have as many pages for "static content" as you want but you can have only one running posts page that will update automatically with each new post you make. That is what a blog is all about.
    If you want each page to automatically update then what you are expecting is what a website is all about and a blog will not do that.
    You can change which page is your front page and which page is your running posts page here => Options => Reading => Reading Options
    Front Page
    Front page displays:
    Your latest posts or
    A static page (select below)
    * Front page:____
    * Posts page:____
    After you make your selections then click "Update Options" to save them.
    A better way to manage separating each of the locations is to use Categories for each location and then when you make a post you assign it to the location category for the correct one.
    I hope this helps you understand this difference between a blog and a website but if you need more help please post again. :)

  3. Thank you very much! You helped me a lot! "you can have only one running posts page" ... that was all about! I hoped, that i could have more that kind of pages!

    Bye Gasper

  4. It's sure nice to hear that I helped you. Happy blogging :)
