'More' tag ID number

  1. How do you edit the arbitrary ID number that WordPress automatically inserts at the back of the code for the 'more' tag? For example, in my blog post http://www.shtikman.com/2009/12/top-20-records-of-2009/#more-140, how do I remove the '140'? I tried deleting and reinserting the tag but WordPress automatically includes it either way. I just want a plain #more at the end of my URL.

The blog I need help with is www.shtikman.com.

  2. The blog you specified at http://www.shtikman.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.
