The more tag doesn't work on my Splendio theme. I want to add content to the footer widgets, but because the entire post is on the front page, people would have to scroll too much to get to the footer. I inserted more on the Post edit page, but it doesn't help. Is there anyway I can fix this?

No. You need to report this in the Themes forum, so that the WP theme team (who monitor that forum) can see it and fix it.
