Hi! I have a current blog at http://www.networksboise.wordpress.com. I want to start a new hosted blog site using WordPress.org and still maintain my existing .com site. The new site will have a different name. The focus of my .com site will change. What I want to do is move the blog posts only over to the new .org site and then delete them from the .com site and I will then start fresh with new posts on the .com site. My questions ...
1. Other than copying and pasting the html for each blog post over to the new .org site, it there a better way to do this? Once again, after I have copied the post to the new .org site, I will delete it from my .com site. Would that satisfy any "terms of service" questions?
2. I know that there is something called a "permalink" but I really do not understand that completely. I guess my question would be that, once I have copied a post from the old site to the new, will people still be able to find it using the same url?
Thanks in advance for your help. This community has always rocked!!
Craig
