Move nav bar

    Hi all:
    I am wondering if it's possible to move the top nav bar so that it's under the image header? We are using the Mod Light theme. Please advise - thanks!

    The blog I need help with is cyclingconcepts.wordpress.com.

  2. I don't know the answer to your question. But since there is no official Staff support for the CSS upgrade, and precious little Volunteer support, I recommend you go to Appearance > Edit CSS. That's where as wordpress has provided a preview function you can use while you wait for a Volunteer with CSS editing experience to help you.

    This post is pretty much compulsory reading for those undertaking CSS editing > http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/ You can find tutorials here http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/#css-help

    Also note that CSS is theme specific here at wordpress.com so you cannot use the CSS stylesheets from other themes with the themes here at wordpress.COM.

    Best wishes with your CSS editing. :)

  3. The method below isn't particularly pretty, especially when the font size is increased or the browswer window is compressed but I can't think of a better way at the moment. You might want to change the position values slightly to taste but it should work OK.

    #top {height:0;}
    #top div.main-nav {position:absolute; top:280px; max-width:950px;}
    div.home, div.last {position:relative; top:40px;}
