Move 'Next post' link in Redoable Lite

    Hi

    I've googled this to death and no joy.

    I wanted to move the Next Post and Previous Post links in my single posts on Redoable lite. I have the CSS upgrade but can't see how to change it, not being versed in the ways of CSS to this level.

    At the moment the links are tucked away at the bottom after the comments, and even though I've had tons of hits this week people have rarely looked at others. It'd be grand to have them at the top where they can be seen (as on other themes).

    Blog link: http://www.whodunnknit.com (it is a wordpress.com blog)

    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is whodunnknit.com.

  2. I cannot help you with CSS editing. However, I would like to give you some advice. You have far too many posts with large images in them on the front page of your blog. This is slowing page laoding time for your visitors and it's forcing them to scroll and scroll. As page loading time became a page ranking factor last year I suggest you reduce the number of posts on your front page. That can be done here > Settings > Reading

    Another strategy you can use is to "split content" in your image laden posts by inserting "the read more" links so your readers click "read more" and then view the entire post on its own page.

    There are other strategies we can also use to reduce page loading time. If you are interested then they are found in this post. > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2009/06/13/blogging-strategies-for-reducing-page-loading-time/

    I hope this helps you. :)

    Oooo. Thanks very much for this. Very useful indeed. :)

  4. You're welcome. Best wishes with your blog. :)

  5. Try something like this:

    .content {position:relative; padding-top:35px;}
    .comments, #respond {position:inherit;}
    #comment-block .comments .navigation {position:absolute; top:0; left:20px; width:710px;}

    Any idea how to do this in Bueno too?

  8. Post a link to the blog using Bueno and I'll take a look.

    Thanks!

    You'll see there's a bit of a recurring thing with my blog subjects. :)

  10. I'd recommend setting less posts to display on your blog page and/or using the more tag so that views won't have to wait until all your images load. It takes a while which makes your site less user friendly. Here's the code:

    #main {position:relative;  padding-top:50px;}
    #main .more_entries {position:absolute; top:40px; left:0; width:580px;}

    Thanks very much. You're fabulous!

    Will look at having less posts on front page too. :)
