Move Stats, Followers, & Likes, Please

  1. Hi! I have moved to a self-hosted site at moodsoflove.com. Can you move my stats, email followers, followers, & likes? I have connected jetpack to my wordpress.com account. Thanks so much!

The blog I need help with is moodsoflove.wordpress.com.

  2. Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

  3. Thanks! That was done before I posted initially, so it should be all set. Thanks again!

  4. You're welcome and please be patient while waiting.

  5. Hi! Sorry, I do have one question while waiting for the subscribers & stats... The link provided above states that WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. Is that true even if the previous wordpress.com site had the same url of moodsoflove.com? Thanks again!

  6. The subscribers and stats have been moved as requested.

Regarding to the reader question, you have two separate blogs now: moodsoflove.wordpress.com and moodsoflove.com . If you don't see your new posts try to re-add your blog again in the reader.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

  7. Thanks so much for your help! Looks great!

I do still have one question about the domain setup, though... This blog previously had the premium domain service as moodsoflove.com. Since that domain name has been retained on the new self-hosted site, do the subscribers still see this blog in the reader, or do we need to direct them from moodsoflove.wordpress.com to the new site (although same name) of moodsoflove.com?

    Thanks again!

  8. Your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site.

    Thank you.

  9. Got it. Thanks again!

  10. You're welcome. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
