   Hi,

   I was wondering if it was possible to do the following as I will no longer will be using wordpress, but my readers know us as idisaster.wordpress.com, but I now want them to know me as disaster-net.com that uses a different platform. I plan to do the following:

   1. Create a subdomain mapping to idisaster.disaster-net.com using CNAMEs
   2. In my GoDaddy DNS manager, autoforward the subdomain to the main domain of disaster-net.com.

   Will everything redirect/forward properly?

   The blog I need help with is idisaster.wordpress.com.

   If people are going to idisaster.wordpress.com and you want them to be automatically redirected from there to another site, you want the site redirect upgrade:
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
