   I'm looking to use wordpress to make a "movie database" in which I can input movies along with some custom information (date released, actors, director, etc), o, for instance, if you want to know what movies were released in 2012 you can click on the 2012 tag and all those movies will pop up. Same with actors, directors, etc.

   I'm hoping to have these fields searchable/linked in the same way as tags but in a way that specific types of content (dates, actors, directors, etc) are organized in their own sections rather than just everything being in the tag cloud.

   Is that possible? Any advice how I would do that?
