Moving a WP blog without being able to export

    Hi All,

I was hosting a WP blog on my site for several months when the server hosting the site became corrupted. After 3 months, I was finally able to download my whole restored blog folder via FTP. I moved my site to a new host, and now I want to reinstall WP on the new host and restore my blog with all my posts, comments, etc, with the dates correct. Since I can't export an XML file from the old blog, how do I do this? Is it as simple as uploading the contents from the blog folder after I've installed WP?

    Thanks in advance!
