I don't want to self-host my blog anymore at http://jenpenm.com, so I set up a free-hosted one (https://jenpenm.wordpress.com/) and want to import all of my old blog's stuff.
I followed the steps clearly lined out here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ under the second section Moving From WordPress.org but get stuck on the last step. When I select the XML file and click "upload file and import" I get an error screen that says:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
The problem isn't with my internet provider or Firefox since I can still open other tabs and browse other websites without any issues. I've tried at different times of night and day and nothing seems to work. HELP!!
I really need to get this blog and another one moved so I don't have to pay for hosting for another year.
The blog I need help with is jenpenm.wordpress.com.
