Moving blog to .org

  1. I'm moving my primary blog to wp.org. After I finish transferring content from http://slworrell.wordpress.com to the new site, what's the best way to handle the wp.com site? I was thinking of just making it unsearchable and private.

I know the ramifications of duplicate content running around the web (big no no), but am just not comfortable deleting it outright.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks (again) in advance.

The blog I need help with is slworrell.wordpress.com.

  2. Private is the best way to go and that way if you should happen to need it in the future for some reason it is still there. With it private, there is no duplicate content and it just sits there sleeping quietly.

  3. Awesome, that's what I thought. Thanks again for the help.

  4. You are welcome.
