   Hey everyone,

   I'm considering moving my wordpress.com blog to an independent installation of WordPress, so that I can use my own themes and plugins and the like - does wordpress.com offer any way or opportunity to forward a WordPress.com URL to another? My current address is http://animalsneedkisses.wordpress.com - can I get that forwarded just to http://animalsneedkisses.com?

   I already have the animalsneedkisses.com domain so that's squared away. I just want the traffic that currently comes to me at the WordPress.com address to go straight to my independent setup... Is there a way to do this or do I just have to make a post at the top telling people to go there?

   The blog I need help with is animalsneedkisses.wordpress.com.

   You need to make a post telling people you've moved.
