I am interested in moving from wordpress.com to wordpress.org so that I can incorporate adsense, feedjit live and Amazon Affiliates on my blog. Before purchasing the guided transfer, I would like to know if the shift from .com to .org will also automatically transfer my followers. (I have purchased a domain name so that it will remain the same when I go to .org and use another hosting service.)

(Note: "Email subscribers" is just the old name for "Followers". They mean the same thing).
@airodyssey, thanks for the pointer to that thread.
The important thing to note is that if followers are "WordPress.com Followers", there is no way to export that list from the Stats page. The only list that can be exported is the one under "Email Followers".
