Moving subscribers from WordPress.com to WordPress.org

  1. Hi,
I was trying to find a way to transfer my subscribers from my WordPress.com blog (http://texascatny.wordpress.com/) to my self-hosted WordPress.org blog (http://texascatny.com/blog/).
On this forum (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/transfer-subscribers-from-wordpresscom) I saw that you seem to be the only one able to do. I have installed everything else myself, so I do not need a guided transfer.
    Can you help?
    Many thanks in advance!
    Purrs

  2. All Staff need is both URLs and for you to install Jetpack and activate it. Then they can do the transfer for you. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

  3. Thank you so much! Jetpack is installed and here are both URLs
    From: http://texascatny.wordpress.com/
    To: http://texascatny.com/blog/

    Many thanks!

  4. You're welcome. :)

  5. I was just about to post a similar question, so I hope you don't mind me tagging it on here...is it correct that both reader and email followers are now moved over? I'm seeing older posts that indicate that just email followers are included in the move, but newer posts seem to indicate that they are all moved over?

  6. Hi there,

You're all set! Your followers have been migrated to your new site. You can verify right here:

And @Becky, yes, we made some improvements to the process and now both email and reader followers are moved over.

  7. Thank you so furry furry much!
Sending you lots of purrs =^.^=
