Will my old blog keep its position in search engines? ( Most of my traffic comes from google so i need to know that my position will stay there)

1) not if you stop updating it; it will gradually lose pagerank and Technorati status and googlejuice.
2) depends on which template you want. All themes have links to their designer's sites, so click through and see if they have a version available.
