Multiple sites under umbrella profile - authors

    Hi,

I began blogging with just one site, intended to be a stand alone, so registered a person as the author and account holder.

Following the success of the first blog, we have now set up an additional two more sites, which will also fall under the umbrella profile (blackpoolcouncil) but are different in their purpose and public authors from the initial blog. What I would like is for posts to be sent out and comments posted under different names with different profile pictures.

My issue is that I do not have a variety of different email address that I can sign up different authors with, an still think that posts which go to subscribers might come from the umbrella profile, when they really need to come from the secondary authors.

Is this a possible way for me to set up my three blogs, and potentially more in the future?

    Thanks

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

The problem I have found with just inviting authors is that ideally I would like them all to be different profiles but from one email address. Inviting authors seems to need all different email addresses whereas really it works for us to have them all directing to one.

The other issue is that all the blogs then come from my profile 'blackpoolcouncil', when really I could do with them coming from different names when posts are sent out?

    Thanks
