My account was lost - need to add existing blog

    When I tried to log in here, WP absolutely could not find my account. The username and password I had written down didn't work. I tried every email address I could think of to retrieve the password and WP said none of them were registered. Finally I gave up and created a new account (with the same username and password I'd recorded), but now on the WordPress.com home page it says I have no blogs. Yet when I came to this forum - there's my blog in the drop-down menu.

    I'm so confused! Does it *matter* whether the home page doesn't recognize my existing blog? I can't find a damn thing about adding an existing blog to a new WP account.

    It would help us help you if you list links to the blogs you are having trouble with.

    I’m sorry to report that you have accidentally posted to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at WordPress.com with that site as it’s not being hosted by WordPress.com and we run on different software. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/
