   I've launched a second blog today using the same login data and tried to invite my employees to join this second blog (private) when I suddenly realised that my administrator rights and functions are lost. When I go to Manage my blogs I can see both my blogs saying I am contributor only. Besides the panel on the left does not show any administrave functions any more like USER. That's why I can't change the USER ROLES. Anyone has a solution for this? Thx a lot for helping. Markus
   PS: I am not a professional in this matter. I would appreciate simple answers. Thx

    Well this has happened to me as well. The strange thing is that I did not accidentally change it. In fact somehow I was sent an email inviting me to be an author and supposedly responded to that email in the affirmative? Of course not, but it's a mystery. Could one of you lovely happiness engineers help me please? Thanks

    hello! I need help because I cannot log into my wp-admin anymore. When I try to get a new password, it sais my Email is unknown. Anybody any ideas? The problem-url is: http://www.anniques.de/wordpress/

    Hi we have the same problem.

    Our site is http://blog.grantthornton.es/ and we don't know why, we have received an e-mail notifying that we have requested the change of our admin e-mail of our site. This notification also includes a link which we have follow besides we didn't ask for this change.

    · Now, we appear as collaborators instead of administrators of our blog, with no option to change it. On the other hand, a second blog appears and our account is now the administrator of this blog which has no content.

    ¿Could you please help us to recover our administrator permission?

    @niquie73 your blog is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can't help with.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

    WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress via their Codex and Support Forums.

    @pharaohrain, you're all fixed up now.

    @grantthorntonspain, it looks like this was already corrected.

    I am also experiencing the same problem!

    There is only me as the contributor now and no admin.

    The blog site is http://paprblog.wordpress.com/

    I'm working on the blog for a professor and I made a stupid comment on it while playing around to learn how to use it and now I can't even delete it! :P

    If you could fix as soon as possible I would greatly appreciate. Thanks wordpress staff!!!
