My blog photos and background do not appear on mobile device

  1. Hello, I have noticed that the photographs I uploaded in a post and the background photo on my blog do not appear on my mobile device. When I press on the image on my phone it says that the file is not found. I have tried to fix it myself, and have read that I need to disable the plugins or optimise the CSS delivery but I am a bit lost as to how I can actually do this. I am using the 'singl' theme. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

The blog I need help with is londonkiezkunst.wordpress.com.

  2. Have you set up the mobile theme here?
    Settings > Mobile

Go to http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/ and see if your theme is a responsive layout theme. Know that responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

The mobile theme is a completely different theme. So if your have a responsive width theme then you Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme.

  3. Hi thank you so much for your quick reply. My theme is a responsive layout theme and I have disabled the mobile theme in the appearance section but the images still don't appear.. Is there anything else I could possibly do? Also I don't have a 'mobile' section in 'settings'
