When I go into my pages and change the text and then press "update page" the page tells me its updated but on the publicly visible site it remains the same. Also if I click "view" the public page appears without changes. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Ok sorry I am a bit of a novice - someone else set up the site for me. The URL is http://www.donallynch.com/about/index.html
When I try to go onto this page and change it via the wordpress site it tells me its changed but the changes don't appear. I clicked on "edit' then updated the text and then clicked on "update page" but this didn't work
Perhaps you're looking at a cached copy. What precisely are you hoping to see?
I am hoping to see the changes that I made to the page applied. I don't understand why he site is not showing them.
Please tell us the words or specifically any the changes we can look for knowing we're not seeing a cached copy.
I changed the bio page from several paragraphs - see: http://www.donallynch.com/about/index.html
to one sentence "Donal Lynch is a writer, editor, critic and communications expert from Dublin, Ireland. He is currently based in New York City from where he writes a column for the Sunday Independent" but it was not effected
At last. :) I am not seeing the short veersion. There are two issues. One is that I do not have my .com navbar when I'm on your site, even though it's a .com blog. Others had this problem a few days ago, so you might want to contact support via the tab in your dashboard or the link at the bottom of this page and get that sorted.
The other is, if you are using snap shots (My browser blocks them, so I'm not sure) please disable in Extras and try your edit again.
Ok thanks I'll try contacting support but if anyone else has advice as to what the problem might be, I'm all ears.
