   My domain is expired and the 'renew' button isn't available.

   The blog I need help with is recentrelevant.com.

   I used the domain helper here http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/

   Domain Not Registered
   It looks like the domain recentrelevant.com has not been registered. You can register and associate it with your blog from your domain management screen. http://recentrelevant.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

   I tried that but it says "One or more of your domain subscriptions has expired. You can renew your domain subscriptions by clicking the "Renew" button in My Upgrades. If your domain registration has expired and you can't see the "Renew" button in My Upgrades, you should contact support immediately." (Then this is the only way I could figure out to contact support.)

   recentrelevant.com expired on August 14 and was returned to the public market.

   You can re-register it by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog's Dashboard.
