My friend sucides

    My dearest friend Anshaal (Shali) has comitted sucide yesterday. He was 18-. We were friends since born. I can't seem to have anything to relief this deepest grief. OH GOD! MY BEST FRIEND IS NO MORE.

    I'm so sad to hear this. I too have had a friend who sommitted suicide. My mother died 6 months ago and one of my friends died of cancer this week. Take good care of yourself. When you feel ready, do something creative to honor the memory of your beloved friend. Some options include: writing a letter to the person who died to say everything you wish you could say to them; making a commemorative scrapbook depicting the times you shared together; planting flowers or trees; or involving yourself in a cause or activity that your friend loved.

    Oh Hnsaifi, I am so very sorry. There is nothing I can say to ease your heartache so I won't try. TTs ideas are good ones and when you feel able I hope you can carry out one of her suggestions.

    My thoughts are with you at this sad and difficult time for you.

    I feel for you. Both my parents committed suicide when I was 15, 6 months apart.

    You will never forget, but the pain will lessen with time. The hardest part is not knowing why.

    I've posted on his wall (Facebook) blaming him for doing this and asking him the reason for it. My heartache has lessened now. I'm feeling better now.
    The main reason for suicide is depression and tension. People don't think what will they do next if their pains do not end even after suicide. As in Islam it is forbidden to kill yourself. And the person committing it will be burnt in the blazes.
    The parents are not guiltless too who don't know how to treat a boy of 18. They treat him like a kid of 7 years. And who handed over a gun to a boy who's even younger than 18?

    Hndaifi, I think you know I do not believe in gods, therefore I do not believe anyone burns in hell or blazes. That may not comfort you, I know, but consider the possibility.

    It is very sad when a young person passes, no matter the reason. However I once had a young friend who refused treatment for very advanced cancer. sometimes a person is in great pain. Whether it is physical or mental, it is their choice. We never understand, we feel angry and often we feel guilty too. One thing we can do is respect the deceased's decision.

    I'm terribly sorry to hear this. Death is without question the hardest part of life.

    I can only hope that he has found the peace he was looking for.
