   I want to insert links into my blog. For instance, I write the name of a recording studio and I want their name to be a link that directs to their page. This feature has always worked for my blog, and now all of a sudden when I "preview" my post or go into "visual" mode not only does the link not work, but the whole word/words have disappeared, leaving a word missing from the sentence.

   I have tried emptying my cache, logging in and out, and also using Chrome and Safari, but nothing has changed this. Please can someone give me some advice, it's a post thanking sponsors so I need to link their websites to my blog ASAP.

   If you links are disappearing and they are driving traffic to commercial sites and/or are advertising links or affiliate links then you need to read these sections:

   In a nutshell no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM
