My pictures that I uploaded and posted are not showing

  1. I just tired uploading a few photos to a new post. When I went to check my blog, I discovered a lot of photos are missing even in the Media section. What's going on?

The blog I need help with is thoughtbeast.wordpress.com.

  2. Please provide an active link strating with http:// link to the post in question.

  3. Here's a link to the guide for uploading images > http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/
Here's a link to the guide for troubleshooting images > http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/#troubleshooting

  4. Here is my blog http://thoughtbeast.wordpress.com/ Pictures strangely are not showing. However, when you click on the missing photo, the picture is brought up. I can even see the images in my Media section.

  5. Most of the pictures on our blog are showing as broken links today - some show as a broken link in the media library, but do show on the blog page (perhaps they have been cached by my browser).

For an example of this, please see: http://yarmouthcan.wordpress.com/donate/donate-goods/

  6. I'm having trouble with pictures not uploading properly and disappearing too. The image uploader has been playing up a lot tonight. It's taken me nearly an hour to add two posts because the pictures won't load properly and they still don't work!

    My site

Thanks in advance for any help supplied.

  7. Same problem for me. Seems like it is not specific to my blogs. I do not have an upgrade account, so I can't contact anyone at WordPress. Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

  8. All of your images are appearing just fine for me.

Please try clearing your browser's cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  9. Mathmaine and leeinblack, both your blogs look good to me. I don't see any broken links where pictures are suppose to be like I'm seeing in my blog http://thoughtbeast.wordpress.com/.

  10. Ah, this was a very brief issue. It's all fixed up now.

  11. Per my previous post, here is a link to a page on one of my blogs: http://derryeac.wordpress.com/free-trees/. Some pictures do display on some pages, but then when I revisit those pages, they do not display.

  12. I'll try macmanx. What is strange is that I first noticed this issue on my iPhone Safari browser. When I log on to my PC using Explorer and Chrome, I see the same broken links.

  13. Thanks macmanx! Ctrl F5 worked for me. Seeing all pictures now.

  14. I'm experiencing the same thing... uploaded images are blank. most of the images on my homepage are missing and i am left with jpeg titles... is this a network-wide situation?

  15. euravic and andrewjramos, this was fixed 5 minutes ago as stated above.

Please try clearing your browser's cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  16. thoughtbeast, you're welcome!

  17. I was still experiencing the problem after MacManx said things were fine now, so I tried using a different browser... and things were fine. So I went back to my normal browser, cleared the cache, and now things seem fine.

    Thanks for the community!

  18. Thanks for the help guys. Clearing my cache helped restore my images although the image uploader is still being a bit temperamental.

Thanks again for the quick responses.

  19. You're welcome!

  20. nope ... i cleared the cache and i am still missing a ton of pics...

  21. you mind checking it: http://theramosproject.com/

  22. I see most of your images just fine, so it's not the same issue. Your featured images are missing though.

In this case, I recommend contacting the developer of your theme directly for help: http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/delicious-magazine

For future reference, there will be a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but the theme needs to be active and you need to be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.
