My site is down... what is this Syntax

  1. Can anyone help me to remedy this syntax? It just appeared not that long ago. My site has been up for two years almost. Thank you for your serious and thoughtful comments.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/content/86/6537186/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 192

The blog I need help with is sunfaceent.wordpress.com.

  2. Most likely you are in the wrong forum

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.

  3. This is a wordpress.com matter. My site is sunfaceent.com

    Thank you for your assistance.

  4. Sorry - you are hosted on Godaddy with a WordPress.ORG install - please read my original post

  5. This is a wordpress.com matter. If you don't have the answer, no need in replying. Thank you.

  6. I gave you the correct answer twice - your site is down - sunfaceent.com is hosted on Godaddy - do a whois if you forgot who your host is

  7. I'm seeing http://sunfaceent.wordpress.com/ just fine. Where are you seeing this error occurring?

  8. And is that the site that you are inquiring about?

  9. http://sunfaceent.wordpress.com/ has no content, so I expect you are talking about a different site. Can we have the URL please?

  10. http://sunfaceent.com/ is hidden in one of the posts -

  11. OK, I see the link above. I missed it. @auxclass is correct. If you go here, http://ismyblogworking.com/sunfaceent.com , and then look at the second section, you will see it listing your host as GoDaddy. There are two types of WordPress sites. Those that are hosted here at WordPress.com, and those that are self-hosted using the software from WordPress.ORG. We simply don't have the knowledge here to help with self-hosted sites and specifically with this type of problem. Post your question over at http://wordpress.org/support/ . They have the knowledge and experience to help you.
