My WordPress.com blog is down/unreachable - help?

  1. My blog address is chrisponsar.com

    The site has been unreachable for about 4 days. I have tried contacting support but no reply yet. Everything looks normal on my wordpress.com dashboard.

    Any ideas?

    The blog I need help with is chrisponsar.com.

  2. Hi there,

    Your domain chrisponsar.com is registered here at WordPress.com, but it's pointed to a different website host. Your domain is pointed to these name servers:

    • ns1.bdm.microsoftonline.com
    • ns2.bdm.microsoftonline.com

    Those name servers belong to Microsoft Office 365, which means they are hosting your site. You'll need to contact them for more information about why your site is down.

    If you'd like to point your domain back to your site hosted here at WordPress.com, you can do that with this guide: Change Name Servers

    Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

  3. Hi. I just upgraded some themes and I´ve completely lost my blog, http://www.spainstruck.com. I get this error message:

    Warning:+require(/home1/albamodo/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/inc/customizer.php)+[function.require]:+failed+to+open+stream:+No+such+file+or+directory+in+/home1/albamodo/public_html/wp-content/themes/prose/functions.php+on+line+196++Fatal+error:+require()+[function.require]:+Failed+opening+required+'/home1/albamodo/public_html/wp-content/themes/genesis/inc/customizer.php'+(include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php')+in+/home1/albamodo/public_html/wp-content/themes/prose/functions.php+on+line+196

    Can you help, please?

  4. No we cannot help. We provide help only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs. You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.

    If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
