   On the Mystique theme page, how did they add the Author's widget?

   Hi,
   It's not theme dependent. :) Appearance > Widgets
   Simply select ALL all of the widgets of your choice, and place them where you want them, and that will override the default sidebar display. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/authors-widget/

   Thank you for getting back with me BUT I cannot see an Author widget available from my choices of widgets for my Mystique theme. Why is it shown on the widget example but not under appearance > Widgets????

   If you had the widget on, and recently switched from a differently designed theme to Mystique, you'll find it under Inactive instead of under Available.
