How do I remove the author info box under my posts?

This week I changed to the Mystique theme, and on my first post I see an ABOUT box at the bottom of the post. After previewing scheduled posts, I see it will show up on them too. I've looked at several other blogs that use the same design and they don't have it. How do I remove this ABOUT box?

  2. Howdy,

A number of themes, including Mystique, display information about the author beneath single posts. It's a great place for you to share some information about yourself with your readers.

If you really want to remove this box, you can do so by deleting the text in the About You field in your profile. You can edit your profile at Users > My Profile in your dashboard.

  3. Just be aware that if you remove the info from your profile information, not only will it remove it from the About box, but also from your gravatar hovercard as well (the icon that appears next to your username when commenting on other people's posts, if they've allowed them).

It sure would be great if there was a way to separate the two.

It worked, thanks. I agree, Jennifer. I wish there was a way to separate the two.
