I want to register a blog name, but it says it's unavailable. However, when I do a google search for the blog, it say it's been deleted by the user. Shouldn't the name be available for me to use, then? The name I wanted to use is anacquiredtaste.blogspot.com

You can't use a blogspot URL on a WordPress.com. And deleted WordPress.com URLs are never recycled, ever.
Sorry, I typed blogspot by accident. I meant to say WordPress. I didn't know about the deleted names being unavailable forever. That answers the question. Thank you.
