Navigation Organization

  1. I may be having a bald moment, but I cannot find anything on the organization of a navigation bar. I do understand that I could add a customized menu but that doesn't take care of the problem of the original navigation bar. Much of the information seems to be pointing me to customized menus.

My preference would be to have the categories used for the navigation to be in the same order as the topics on the static landing page

The blog I need help with is theprofessionalsedge.wordpress.com.

  2. If you create a custom menu yo can then you can drag and drop the Categoies into any order you wish them to appear in. Thanks, I had read the first two links previously but the third was new. After reading that, maybe my question should be "How do I turn off the current navition bar?" Yes, I realize I may not be using the correct lingo here, any education is much appreciated.

I already tried to create a custom menu, save it, and view it. When I did, visually Iended up with two navigation bars. One in the order I wanted (the customized menu) and the other not in the order I wanted (the orginal navegation).

Do I need to pick a theme that doesn't include a navigation bar?
