When I leave a comment on a post, I always click on " Notify me of follow-up comments via email," either to see if anyone replies to MY comment or just to follow the general thread.
Once I decide I no longer want to follow that thread, I can click on the handy "Manage Subscriptions" link at the bottom of each notification e-mail, and, if I subscribed to the thread recently, the subscription I want to delete will be near the top of the list.
Sometimes, though, the traffic on particular thread runs its course and I don't have to unsubscribe, UNLESS the thread heats back up again LONG after I'm no longer interested in the topic. All of a sudden my e-mail inbox is cluttered with the new comments.
THEN when I go into "Manage Subscriptions" to delete the thread, I have to work my way backward through (currently) 19 pages of links to individual posts to find the one I want to delete. Very time-consuming.
I need a search field in the Manage Subscriptions area that would let me simply enter the name of the post subscription I want to delete so I can go right there and hit the "delete" option.
