   Hi, I'm desperately trying to work out how to center my search bar in the footer widget. I've tried to isolate the element with firebug and have tried everything but nothing seems to be working. I've been using the text-align:centre command but nothing works.
   Anyone please please please help me fix this!

   I checked http://pavementportraits.com/ and I don't see a search box there. Did you remove it?

   Thanks. Try this:

   #footer .widget {
   	float: none;
   	display: inline-block;
   	margin: 0 auto;
   }

   Note that this will affect all widgets added to the footer widget area, not just the search widget.

   Yes! You're amazing thank you. I got the feeling text-align was the wrong command.

   I bet text-align would work in some similar cases.

   Centering the footer widgets in Blaskan was a pretty tricky case actually!

   I had posted this reply to mylesformby:
   "Unfortunately some of the experienced volunteers who could help with CSS are no longer willing to, so you'll probably have to wait for a staff reply."
   Why did you think it should vanish?

   It's repetitive, not relevant, and not helpful. I would like to keep the CSS forums on topic please.
