Need help extending title across page on CATEGORY PAGES

  1. Please look at the following page. I would like the title to extend all the way across. I think I also have same problem on search result pages. Thanks

    http://parishconnections.wordpress.com/category/from-the-desk-of-fr-don/

    The blog I need help with is parishconnections.wordpress.com.

  2. You created the problem yourself, when you added this:

    .column-title {
        min-height: 50px;
        width: 57em;
    }

    Remove the last line.

    PS Please make sure you post CSS questions in the CSS forum, not the Support forum.

  3. Thank you. There was never any doubt on my part that I was responsible for the problem, just not sure what I did. Okay, CSS forum...that makes sense. But what is the support forum used for? I had been using that all along and have been getting real good advice from sacredpath. It's always great though when other members can help out, too. I really do appreciate your timely response.

  4. You're welcome.

    The Support forum is for all kinds of questions and issues (settings, formatting, images, menus, links, bugs - you name it) except theme-specific questions, widget-specific questions, and CSS editing.

    This is the page that links to all the threads you've started:
    http://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/parishconnections
    If you click on each title then scroll to the top, you'll see that all the answers by thesacredpath are on threads you posted in the CSS forum, while some threads you've posted in the Support forum have remained unanswered. Thesacredpath was an expert volunteer now turned WP staff; he's responsible for answering CSS questions, and he visits the CSS forum only. This is the one reason why you should post in the right forum: very few of us volunteers help with CSS editing, and when we want to answer such questions we naturally go to the CSS forum. The other reason is that these forums are public: the whole point is that Q&As are available to all users, so posting in the right place helps others who may be looking for the same answers.

  5. You will now notice that I responded to the unanswered questions.
    (See what I meant? I hadn't seen those questions when you posted them: I visit the Support forum regularly, but I don't have time to open all threads, let alone answer them.)

  6. You are very kind. Thank you for helping me learn the ropes about how to use this forum. I just made another post and labeled it CSS. I will remember now to do this.

  7. You're welcome!

  8. Addendum: I asked moderators to move the other threads to the CSS forum.
