Need help in adding LINKS in the sidebar

    Hello!
    I'm quite new to this, but getting there...
    I went to "Widgets" and I have a LINKS widget on my list (only it shows in the admin area, and not in the actual blog site.
    I know i can add links via blogroll, but I would like these to be separate. What do I need to do? (I looked at the "wuastions" but was not enlightened...

    Thank you in advance!

    ps: I use the k2 theme.

    Use a text widget and add the links in manually.
