Need help REMOVING the comment/ date from the chunk theme !!!!

  1. Hello if anyone out there can help me i have a couple of questions i need help i would like to remove the date and comment from all my post also i would like to make my menu bar the actual categories because i see i can not post more than one thing where my menu is located but if i put it in my categories at the bottom i am able to post as if it was a new blog i would like to delete that and have the format of the categories on my menu so each link is almost a different blog

    The blog I need help with is purrrr.com.

  2. If you don't want comments at all, go to settings > discussion and disable comments and trackbacks and save. That will keep comments off for all future content, but not for any existing content.

    For existing content, you can use the bulk edit feature in posts > all posts and pages > all pages and turn comments off on multiple posts and pages at once.

  3. For the date, add this to your CSS.

    .date {
    display: none;
    }
  4. Thank you so much !! okay so the date worked that came right off

    my next question would be how can i delete the categories and only keep my top menu and each

    i want my website to just have a front page to delete everything in the front and have my top menu to be the rest of my site only problem is i don’t know how to post more than one thing in another category at the top

    exmp: about| home| kat rack|…|…..|

    i can only post one thing when i would need all of those to almost be a different blog

  5. Ummm, what?

    Pages are static and sit outside of the blog structure and you cannot put posts on "pages." All posts will show on the main blog page. There is no way to exclude posts from the main posts (blog) page. See this support document on the differences between pages and posts.

    At wordpress.com, you organize posts by categorizing them and then you can either put the categories widget into the sidebar, or you can create a custom menu and put the categories into the custom menu.

    If you do not want all the posts to show on the main page, then you can create a static front page for your site. If you wish, you can also create a "blog" page, but you do not have to if you do not want to.
