need help with delicacy theme

  1. Can someone please tell me how to remove the horizontal rule below the ribbon and what looks like the rest of the header? I uploaded a custom header and am now left with the horizontal rule and some space with what looks like a scalloped bottom edge where the end of the header would be.
    Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is fearlesshomecooking.wordpress.com.

  2. Well, that took some time to find. Add this to the end of your custom CSS:

    #navigation {
    border-bottom: none;
    }

    #intro {
    display: none;
    }
  3. It might also look nice to add a small gray line at the top of the main content area:

    #content-wrapper {
    	border-top: 1px solid #dcdcdc;
    }
    #sidebar {
    	padding-top: 15px;
    }

    Add these to the editor in Appearance → Themes → Cusotmize → CSS to preview how it will look.

  4. Thanks to both of you for your help... but I have to admit, I'm new to wordpress and cannot get to the editor following the path above. I get to "customize" but there is no CSS there. I have not upgraded Delicacy from the basic free theme; could that be the reason? I also found this article (http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#custom-css) that says you can preview a custom design with changes before you purchase and I tried to do that for the CSS and couldn't get a text box on that tab.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks for any guidance; it's much appreciated.

  5. OK, I fiddled around with this and figured it out.
    Both changes worked. Thanks sooo much for your help!

  6. You are welcome.
