Need to delete former blogs - ticket no. 1456778

  1. Hi,

    I am trying to delete 2 former blogs that are no longer in use.
    shona8.wordpress
    shonamackin.wordpress

    I have been able to access the shona8 blog = I have updated my email address and when I follow the delete process am told to wait for an email that never arrives. I would love some assistance here. I have tried numerous times through out the day.

    I can not recall the email address I set it up on, it was sent up pre 2008 when I had a different role.
    One day I tried to log in and the account was shut - I can not recall the reason.
    I have tried all of the options I can think of.
    I do not have an akismet key for it
    I can not see if there are unpublished posts
    I would not have access to any paypal if there was one set up against the blog.
    I have done my best to get into the blog (over a series of years when I get fed up trying to close it)
    I have followed the response from James from my enquiry on Feb 4th - James | http://learn.wordpress.com | http://en.support.wordpress.com

    I would like both of these blogs removed as they are no longer relevant to my work and I do not want people to find them.

    Can someone please call me on [phone number redacted] to discuss what options I have from here.

    If you still have access to the email connected to the account, you can enter that email address in the password recovery tool. Please check your spam folder for the recovery email if you don't receive it in your Inbox immediately:

    If that doesn't work, in order to regain access to a WordPress.com account, we'll need one of the following things:

    * An email from the email address on file for the account

    Please copy-paste the exact subject line from this message - including ticket no. 1456778 - so everything stays together in our system.

    * The API key associated with the account. Please see this link for more information on API keys:

    * A Paypal Transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account. Keep in mind that since PayPal is our sole payment processor behind-the-scenes, this transaction ID was generated even if you paid via credit card or another method.

    * One or two title(s) of any unpublished draft posts or pages

    Finally, please make sure you have tried testing different passwords in the login area at the top of WordPress.com. Often people can remember the password after a few tries.
