New blog registration?

  1. What can I do if I didn't register my second blog correctly? It's not playing well with my original blog.

The blog I need help with is dancingwithlightandshadow.wordpress.com.

  2. Actually the blog I'm having trouble with is my original blog:
    jayjaysfavorites.wordpress.com

  3. Blogs are completely independent, even if they are registered under the same username account. What do you mean by not playing well with your other blog?

  4. My original blog's profile info has been changed to the new blog's info. So when I try to get into the dashboard of the original blog, it sends me directly to the new blog. I used different profile info, thinking that's what I should do...to keep the two blogs separate.

  5. You can only create a single profile here > Dashboard > Users > My profile > About You section for every username account. It applies to all blogs registered under that same username account.

  6. Thanks so much for your help!

  7. Okay...another question.....is there a way for me to have them connected? Or is the only answer- to delete the new one, and start a new one from my original blog? If that's the case, could I still use the new blog's name? Sorry for so many questions.
Your site has a ton of great info! Thanks!

  8. Deleting blogs is irreversible! Deleted URLs are not recyled. There is no need to delete any blog at all if you follow the instructions I already linked to the instructions for disassociating two blogs.

  9. Okay...another question.....is there a way for me to have them connected?

Exactly what do you mean by that? Be descriptive please.

  10. By that I meant to have them under the same username account, I guess. I noticed (after I generated my 2nd blog) that there's a way to start a blog right on my original blog's site. Had I done that, I probably would have avoided all this trouble.
By disassociating my blogs, I'm thinking I'll have two separate blogs, two separate username accts, correct?

  11. If you want to disassociate two blog then you need two username accounts to do that.

  12. I still need your help. I've read the instructions on two of your solutions. But my original blog does not show up in the "My Blogs" section. I have no idea how to get the blog's name to show there.
I tried clicking on "Site Admin" on the original blog and it told me I could not access that dashboard. This is a huge mess. I have no idea how to untangle it.

  13. It looks like I've been able to separate the blogs and I'm able to access each blog, too. Thanks for your help!

  14. I'm not well and that's why I haven't been answering many questions. Sorry about the delay. It sounds like the blog is hidden.

Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

  15. No delay! You answered very quickly!
Actually, they're under different usernames, but I can now access both blogs. I need to sign out to do that, it seems, but that's okay with me.

They don't show up together in the My Blogs section of each blog...but I'm happy that I'm not prevented access to my original blog anymore.
I appreciate all the help and time you've given me.
I hope you feel better soon.
