Hi, guys. I've just started my own doggy blog, which will be primarily about my little whippet, George, but will also cover dog-related issues. Now I've just discovered the forums and, from what I've seen so far, they're great. Therefore, I thought I'd introduce myself and George to the blogging community and, hopefully, find some friends who share our interests.

I am a huge dog lover! I sometimes use pictures of my own and other peoples' dogs as "guest sports commentators" on my blog. I could look at dog pics for hours. You may have trouble getting rid of me. I'm on my way there now.

Hi, guys, and thank you for the nice comments. I was looking for a button which I could use to reply to each of your posts individually, but I couldn't find one so I have to manage in one post. So here it is:
@ balladeer: I've replied to the comment you left on the blog. Love the "guest commentator" idea, it's brilliant (but I've said that already).
@ appsterberry: thank you, he is cute, isn't he? (how could I think otherwise anyway). It took me ages to choose a picture for the header and crop it the right way, but I'm pleased with the result.
@wingstruck: Thank you for the nice comment. He's not a greyhound, he's a whippet. Pretty much the same, still a sighthound, it's just that he's much smaller and fits in the house/car/our bed better :)
