New Post NOT showing up in TOPICS

    Every time I publish a new post, it no longer shows up in global topics. I used to get published here and this is how I attracted a lot of new readers. I had been using too many tags, and edited all my earlier posts to only have about 11 or 12 tags, with the exception of possibly one post. I thought this would fix the problem but it hasn't.

    Does anyone have any ideas?!

    Please do a search of the forum: there are at least a hundred people complaining about the Topics reader right now. Are you visible on the actual tag page, eg http://wordpress.com/tag/cthulhu or not? Have you ever been? And have you made a post since you edited those pre-existing posts? How old is your blog?

    This is very frustrating. I've looked at other "topics" threads and thought I followed the advice. However, I did not take into consideration the combination of both the tags and categories not exceeding ten. I have deleted the majority of my tags hoping this would help but it doesn't seem to. My blog doesn't show up in a tag search OR topics. Therefore there is no way anyone could ever find my blog unless they have already subscribed. I USED to show up in topics and in the tag search, I don't know what happened. PLEASE HELP!

    The change doesn't happen immediately. If you've been flagged as a tag spammer, you will have to be patient to be reinstated as a regular blog.

    Thank you raincoaster and timethief. I must have been flagged as a tag spammer, I didn't realize there was a limit until recently. I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I much appreciate the help! Kindest regards, Livin' Love
