I haven't posted for a number of months but tonight, when I open my blog and click on "New Post", it goes to a weird, scrunched up page layout and when I click "New Page", nothing happens. The rest of the page looks fine. It's just "New Post" that doesn't work. I've approved several track backs and ping backs. Could they have caused a problem?
The blog I need help with is uwant2gogo.wordpress.com.

Thanks for responding, timethief. Both links took me to a workable page that says "new post" but it basically looks like a variation of "Quick Press" -- not what I remember from seven or so months ago when I last posted!
At the upper right of the text area, is there a "visual" and an "HTML" tab? If so, click the "visual" tab and wait for the page to refresh. It could take several seconds.
Also if you can, take a screenshot of what you see in the editor, upload it to your media library and then give us a link to that image so we can see what you are seeing.

There is no text area -- and no "visual" or "HTML" in sight!
I've saved a screenshot to my Pictures" but I'm not sure how to give you a link.
Sorry to be unhelpful when you're trying to help me!
In your dashboard, go to media > add new. Locate the screenshot and upload it. After it uploads at the bottom of the upload window it will show the URL of the image in the grey colored field. Copy that URL and paste it here into this thread so that we can take a look at it.
Also, what browser and browser version are you using?
Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try the dashboard and post editor again.
It appears like you are going to the main wordpress page to do your posts, and I would suggest against that. Go directly to the posts > add new in your dashboard to create a new post. The direct link to that on your site would be:
http://uwant2gogo.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
It can also be reached by going to your dashboard and then under "posts" on the left navigation module and click add new.

I thought I went through the main wordpress page before when I was posting regularly but perhaps I'm misremembering.

That tab, New Post, on the main page should work, but perhaps it is messed up. It came up fine for me in Safari, but that is the first time I've ever clicked on it.
My suggestion is to always work directly in your dashboard. There are far fewer problems typically when you do that.
