New Post - Screen

    I haven't been logged in since obviously a lot changed, and everything looks a little bit crowded. Can I change to the old settings somehow?

    What bothers me most is, that it was always possible to customize the size of the typing screen (like the box where I'm typing in right now). It's still possible, but only in length, not in width, and it's just too small, and looks more like a little notepad than something you can be creative on (at least to me).

    Any chance I can change especially that? That I can change it in width? Maybe it sounds a little too detail-oriented, but it really bothers me.

    Are you typing in the 'Quickpress' window or have you actually gone to the Add New Post editor?

    Im just trying to figure out how to get my wordpress blog going...any suggestions?

    what do you mean by "going"? you just set up a blog and hope people visit. You should also consider linking your name to your blog.

    No, it's not quick press. It makes me tired. So sad, I like the old version so much better, and so don't like this one.

    Well, what-ya-gona do...I'd like a pet horse, but my father refuses to buy me one. So, you can't always have what you want.

    If you read the link I posted, you'll see how to move the "publish," "tags," and "categories" modules down below the editing area. Then you can make the editing area as wide as your screen.

    I actually found it a lot better to just collapse the sidebar panel, seemed to create a lot more space for me.

    Yep, doing both gives me enough space to write a whole novel!
    (well, a novella) ;-)
