I was notified of a new subscriber, and instead of telling me who the person is, the notification reads "Someone is following your blog."
I just wanted to know why this is.

If I am correct, it is because the person is not a WordPress user. Is their email address on the notification near the bottom? If they do not have a WordPress account, the way they would receive post updates is through email.
