Is it posible to edit themes headers, css etc from WP hosted pages, or do I need to install my pages on a separate server?
eg: From the "PRESENTATION" panel, I only see 'THEMES'(offering a page of default themes) and 'SIDEBAR WIDGETS.'
I'd be grateful for any assistance.

You need to host it on a separate server to edit themes, css, etc.

Alot of the themes now, you can have your own custom headers. Just check the faq at the pink sticky thread on top to see the different measurements for different themes.
