Newbie, any advise?

    Hey everyone!

    I'm totally new to blogging and new to WordPress. I'm hoping to start my fly fishing blog soon.

    I'm starting a fly fishing apparel and soft goods business and I hope to use my blog to keep customers informed and entertained. (If they check out my commerce site that's even better but I don't want the blog to be an advertisement!)

    I was just wondering if anybody had any advise for a "new guy" just starting his blog. Any good books or articles I should read?

    What exactly do you want to know?
    Be specific. Where do you host your blog, is it a [dot]com, [dot]org or [dot]info?

    What is your blog's url?? Is it independently hosted or using wordpress.com?

    Uh, have you tried searching the forum and Support for "Beginner" and related terms?
