I want to represent all the new guys(and girls, of course :)) who recently became bloggers on this site. I'm new! I've just created my account, set my blog up, and made my first post today. I'll be blogging about writing, my progress on my first novel, and posting some of my short stories and poems. I'm sure a few posts about my life in general will creep in somewhere in the midst of it all. Here's the link in case anyone is interested:

Very Nice blog and engaging content! I recommend adding the search widget at the top of the widget section on your blog so visitors have a easier way to search older content... Also a archive page wouldn't be a bad idea either and the nice thing about that is the page automatically updates each time you post new content...

You're off to a solid start with your blog I recommend bringing a visual element to your content by considering adding an image to your posts... The reason is if you pick a corresponding image to co-aside with the content it helps the reader visualize the concept of the article easier...

Hey to the other newbies--and not-so newbies.
I've blogged a lot before, but this one's not so much about me. I've gotten really into free online fiction recently (thank you recession!) So I'm here to write mostly about that and to connect with writers. (Looking at you andreahkiss -- nice blog btw.)

No sure i'm still considered a "newbie". I have been blogging for almost 2 months now. However, I love networking with other bloggers and making new friends. My blog is a personal blog so I write about a variety of different topics but I am trying to keep it organized. I have recently just started writing some fiction and I would love feedback on that.

@sparkylaurie I love your blog! I wanted to subscribe but could not find a place to do that! I will come and check everyone else's blogs out in a while. For now I have to go find my car underneath all the grit and grime that has accumulated on it. Ugh. WordPress is so much more entertaining.

I assert as follows:
I want to represent all the not-so-new-but-still-relatively-inexperienced men and women (no children, of course :)) who not-so-recently became bloggers on this site.
Since we are, as had been previously stated, relatively inexperienced older members should give us backrubs... massaging our backs AND egos, buy us dinner and understand when we stand them up for a night out with our friends (you know, the ones the experienced bloggers don't like because they stare at them in creepy ways when no one is looking)
Oh, and dog-sit our cat when we're out of town...

I agree! I just started blogging... yesterday. I don't really understand. But I have always wanted to blog so I decided to. :) check out my blog and tell me what else to do with it! I will blog about everyday or at least every weekday. What do I need to do, add, or talk about to make my blog worth visiting?!
Add more media, e.g pictures, videos etc. Widgets like tagcloud are also good for a blog. I suggest you look at sl1k and timethief's earlier posts above. They helped me a lot.
