Nishita -Site Title and tags

  1. To customize the Nishita theme, I do not want all caps for the title and the tags showing, and so I have this in the CSS:

    #site-title {
    text-transform: none;
    }

    #span.tag-links {
    display: none;
    }

    And I had instead of the hash mark # a period at first (.site-tile). Both codes whether starting with hash mark or period do not work with the Nishita theme.

    Is there different codes, then, for the Nishita theme as to the title and no tags?

    Thank you,
    Anna

  4. Is there different codes, then, for the Nishita theme as to the title and no tags?

    Exactly. CSS is theme specific. To target the site title and hide tags in the Nishita theme, you should use the following CSS:

    #title h1 a {
    	text-transform: none;
    }
    .entry-tags {
    	display: none;
    }
  5. Worked like a charm. Thank you!

  6. I noticed looking at the archive pages that the title is caps.

    A code for the archive page title with none text-transform?

    Thank you,
    Anna

  7. It helps a lot to have an example page to look at. Here is the 2013 archive page for your blog for reference:
    https://cosmoswonderland.wordpress.com/2013/

    And I see you were able to update the text-transform for the 'Archive for the year "2013"' title by using the following custom CSS:

    h2.page-title {
    	text-transform: none;
    	color:#fff
    }

    Nice work!
